  • What are the dates of the National Conference?

    The conference is January 30th – January 31st, 2025, with an option to participate in a golf outing and dinner on January 29th.

  • What is the cancellation policy for registration fees?

    Cancellations made before October 29th are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made after October 29th and up to November 29th are eligible for a partial refund (⅓ cost reimbursed). Any cancellations after November 29th do not qualify for a refund.

  • What is the cost of attending the conference?

    The registration fee for the conference is $600, plus travel expenses. See room block information above.

  • Will there be meals provided during the conference?

    Most meals are provided during the conference. Here are the covered meals:

    • January 29th: Dinner and drinks provided
    • January 30th: Breakfast and lunch provided; drinks during the social event
    • January 31st: Breakfast provided

  • What is the dress code for the conference events?

    The dress code is business casual, and we encourage school gear!

  • What are the different session tracks offered at the conference?

    The conference will feature a variety of session tracks with something for everyone! Here’s a breakdown:

    • General Sessions: These breakout sessions will cover various topics relevant to facility managers, including school and student safety, staff recruiting and retention, and more. Guest speakers will share their expertise and insights.
    • FMX-Specific Sessions (geared toward current FMX Customers): Dedicated breakout sessions and hands-on labs will focus on getting the most out of your FMX software. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new tips and tricks and deepen your understanding of the FMX platform.
  • Who will the keynote speakers be, and what will they discuss?

    The keynote speakers are Todd Shirley, Steve Honn, and Matt Wark with Forsyth County Schools in Georgia, a district that’s taking a leading role in addressing the student mental health crisis. They’ll be discussing their innovative Student Advocacy Program, designed to provide crucial support to students who may be struggling with self-harm or harming others. The program’s goal is to prevent these tragedies, and the speakers will share some statistics highlighting the issue’s seriousness. They’ll also show how they’ve structured their school facilities to support the program’s success. This will include details about physical spaces designed to promote student well-being and procedures for staff to identify and assist students in need.

    Yes! We understand you might want to extend your stay and explore the magic of Orlando. You can book pre- and post-conference nights through our FMX room block at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. The special rate of $250 per night (plus tax and resort fees) will be available for reservations between January 24th and February 6th.

    Here are some additional points to consider:

    • Availability for pre- and post-conference nights might be limited depending on overall hotel occupancy.
    • It’s recommended that you book your stay as soon as possible to secure your desired dates.
  • What is the best way to get from the airport to the conference location?

    We recommend Uber/Lyft/Taxis into the resort for ease.

    Unfortunately, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort no longer offers shuttle services to/from the airport. However, you can now arrange your own private Disney vehicle from your smartphone using the Lyft app. For an additional fee, any guest on the Walt Disney World Resort property can open the Lyft app to request and pay for rides. Getting around has never been easier or more convenient with Minnie Van Service!

  • Is there a room block available?

    Yes! We have a room block secured at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort for your convenience. It’s the most practical choice for your stay since it’s connected directly to our conference space. Rooms are available at a special rate of $250 per night, plus tax and resort fees. You can book your room directly through this link here.

  • Can I stay at another property?

    Absolutely! While the room block at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort offers a convenient location and charming atmosphere, you’re welcome to choose another hotel that better suits your needs.  We understand flexibility is important.

    Here are a few things to keep in mind:

    • Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is connected directly to the conference space, so staying there will minimize travel time.
    • If the room block fills up, we’ll happily provide alternative lodging options nearby.
