Lucas D. Novotny, Ed.D. MBA is the Executive Director of Housing, Dining, and Unions at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. In this role, he oversees a $80 million budget, more than 3 million square feet of facilities, and a team of 600 staff. Lucas has led major initiatives, new construction and renovations at multiple campuses. Lucas is passionate about innovation, operational excellence, and creating transformative student experiences. He earned his Doctor of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University, where his research focused on mission-informed decision-making in higher education.
