With 29 years of experience in the public educational field, Tim Ivey has a wealth of experience, and his passion for creating positive school cultures is inspiring. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including maintenance staff, classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal, director of high school reform, and most recently Chief Operations Officer for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
Tim is known for his commitment to student success, continuous improvement skills, and ability to create positive, high-functioning educational environments. His extensive experience and passion for customer service have made him a respected leader and advocate for educational excellence.

Tim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary English Language Arts from Appalachian State University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University.
